When some Parisian friends decided to tie the knot in the sunny south of France, Label’Emotion Provence stepped up to the plate – and the results truly showed! We’re super excited to be able to share this beautiful real wedding with you today. This lovely couple were born and bred in Paris, however their love for Provence in the South of France, prompted them to celebrate their marriage there, under the glorious southern sun.
Soledad and Pierre called upon Label’Emotion Provence’s expertise to provide all of their wedding decorations. They felt completely confident that their wedding would be in safe hands, and entrusted their wedding planners to arrange the decoration for their ceremony space, cocktail area, dining room, and photo booth.
They couple decided that they wanted an old-school style, both rustic and chic. Peonies were the common throughout, which tied the whole theme together beautifully. The tone had been set!
Label’Emotion were given free rein on this project. All the couple did was given them a budget and allowed their planners to work their magic! They didn’t want to see anything before the wedding, and preferred to wait until the big day itself to experience the decor for the first time along with their guests. A sure surprise!
The secular ceremony took place outdoors, in the garden of a gorgeous, typically Provençal farmhouse. The wedding planners hung sheer white fabric from a tree to create an archway over the married couple. They then marked out the aisle with rustic, flower-topped lanterns on white stands. They decided to replace the traditional altar with three floral arrangements: two with beautiful baby’s breath, and a third made from a dome of pink peonies. This was a big surprise for the married couple, as it went over and above anything they could have imagined!
The welcome area unfolded around an old armchair, a vintage bicycle, an apple crate, a flower-topped lantern, and an old French door, customised by the Provence wedding planner to mark out the different reception areas. The couple certaily had the old-school style they were gong for! The photo booth was also in this area, meaning that when guests arrived they could take a photo. These were then placed at the entrance of the dining area, where the newlyweds enjoyed seeing the wonderful photos of their guests.
A candy bar, which was made from stacked vintage apple crates, carried through the wedding’s rustic theme. Various sized candles were dotted throughout the reception, adding a beautiful warm touch, while small arrangements of pink peonies drew on the couple’s chic theme! There were also many glass jars filled with sweets for the guests to enjoy, both stylish and delicious!
The table centrepieces were beautifully delicate mini floral arrangements similar to those at the ceremony altar. The wedding’s floral theme was continued, with baby’s breath and peonies sitting pretty in rustic wooden containers. Each element came together to highlight the chic yet pastoral beauty of the Provence area.
Guests enjoyed yet another original creation from the Provence wedding planners, which were the wedding favours and guestbook table. A lot of care was taken when choosing the favours; a little jar of olive oil for the ladies, and pastis for the gentlemen. It was a truly original idea that recalled the flavours of Provence.
Label’Emotion brought everything together for a stunning day under the stunning southern sun. It was a truly wonderful wedding, with lots of happy guests!
