Wit Photography is the wedding photography company of mine, Renate van Dijk. The most important thing on a wedding day is that you have an epic day. That's why 90% of my photos are journalistically recorded. I always do a photo shoot , but even then I am not busy with the best poses, I give assignments so that a bridal couple is busy with each other instead of with me and my camera.
I am a non-traditional journalistic fine art wedding photographer who loves alternative weddings and specializes in weddings abroad (aka destination weddings ).

Getting married abroad
I am based in The Hague, Scheveningen to be precise. I can also regularly be found in London (United Kingdom) and Belgrade (Serbia). Between these visits I travel the world to any destination that I or my customers want and I do not charge extra travel costs within Europe for this. Previously I photographed weddings, love shoots and events in the Netherlands, England, Italy, Belgium, Serbia, Ireland, Scotland, Greece, Iceland, Norway, France, Morocco, South Africa, Spain, Guernsey, Switzerland and Austria. In the past 8 years I traveled to 17 different countries to photograph weddings. No journey is too far for me to capture your story in photos and / or film. In addition to my Dutch native language, I also speak English at a near-native level (I lived, studied and worked in England and even performed on stage as a professional singer and actress). I can also follow a bilingual ceremony to the letter and I am also aware of all Dutch, English and American wedding traditions.
The beautiful fairy-tale photos of Renate van Wit photography bring us back time and time again to that fantastic day in Italy ... The photos have far exceeded our expectations. Renate is able to merge with the company, you hardly notice that she was there. In the meantime she managed to capture both the details and the big picture in her characteristic way. No poses, no interruptions in the day, but just as the day was! We are very happy that we have chosen for Wit Photography and we still enjoy the beautiful pictures that are hanging with us every day.
Renate is a fantastic extra "guest" for your wedding. We had a lot of fun taking the pictures and everything went very clear and pleasant during the preparation. The result was really great, she managed to capture us beautifully on this beautiful day.
We were married on 30 April and we had Renate van Wit Photography capture this with great pleasure. What we particularly liked is that she really offered the space for our own ideas and did not stick to the standard story that most photographers offer. Furthermore, she thought carefully about where to stand in order to take beautiful photos and to keep our feet as short as possible. To be honest, sometimes it was almost as if she was not there, so we were not distracted on our beautiful day. Renate was pleasant to deal with, arranged everything well around us with the cameraman and not unimportantly: the photos are fantastic!
