ZIWA
ZIWAWe are Vanessa and Ivo. Made of sun, sea and love. We started making wedding films in 2012, and our style has changed and matured over the years. We seek, above all, romance and intimacy between the couple. We've put together some pretty pictures, the right music and we've got your wedding film.
We had a dog (Kira!) and two(!) cats – Rorschach and Vanilla. We listen to a lot of music and watch a lot of movies (especially those that go with popcorn). Vanessa worked in a theater company, Ivo in cinema. We love to cook together and spend the rest of the evening on the couch. Vanessa is organized, Ivo not so.
On your big day, our goal is to capture, in a simple way, the essence of what happened. We are not looking for poses or role-plays. We won't bore your guests with big lights or gadgets. We try to be discreet and mingle with your guests. Most of the time we just have a camera in hand. You can easily find us stealing a canapé during aperitifs or dancing during the party. And we always eat cake!
Your wedding day is a party, and we want you to enjoy it. For that reason, we just ask you for a little bit of time to make some pictures of your own, but then we want you to have fun – talk, laugh, eat, drink and dance.
We sincerely believe that this is what makes our films unique.
What to say? ... it won't be easy and although we've known each other for a long time and our friendship has existed since then, it's not easy to describe your work without words like: FANTASTIC, INTIMATE, FUN, WONDERFUL... I don't know... they filled it our hearts and made that day even more beautiful, which we will now remember with moments that only you could capture!!! Kisses to both of you and much, but THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Because it was such a memorable and SO happy day, our wedding day, it's hard for us to come up with the right words to describe it. It was the memory-images that Vanessa & Ivo captured that allowed giving voice to so many moments, encounters, laughter and looks of complicity. We were truly grateful and happy with the photographs, which, in addition to professionalism, were taken with description and attention to what we most wanted and liked. Thank you very much Vanessa & Ivo !
The choice of Vanessa and Ivo for videographers of our wedding was obvious right away ... we searched through a lot of videographers on the internet but after watching the videos of Vanessa and Ivo we decided they had to be them! For more videos that we saw of other videographers (not undoing, of course) always lacked that "x factor" that we can not explain and that we found in their videos ... We could not be more grateful for the choice: from the sympathy with which they presented us in the first meeting, easy and unpretentious treatment and at the same time professionalism. We knew they would make an incredible video. The feeling is indescribable when we see our wedding video (we've seen it over and over again) :) We feel it's really "our" video: that could only be done for us. All the details have been thought about our personalities, our beliefs and values, what we value most in life ... all this is mirrored in the video; all this has been chosen for us to represent us. I review the work of Vanessa and Ivo in a poem by Fernando Pessoa that I like very much: "To be great, be whole: nothing exaggerates or excludes you. Be all in every thing. Put how much you are at the very least you do. So in every lake the whole moon shines, for the living is high. " One good thing is Vanessa and Ivo for sharing with us this walk and for being so genuine and authentic.
